Production Diary

16th October 2013
Today we were put into our groups and decided on an idea for our short film. We then finalised our shot list and began to create our storyboard.

17th October 2013
Today we completed our storyboard and went on a location recce to take photographs from different angles to determined the best shots for our 90 second film.

18th October 2013
Today we went down to one of our shooting locations to require the details for the completion of our pre-production paperwork. We also went out onto a location recce with a camera to take pictures of certain angles and possibilities of which we could use.

22nd October 2013
Today we completed further pre-production paperwork. We also began to create our comic book which will be included in the short film.

23rd October 2013
Today we found images of a Batman magazine on the internet. Using Photoshop we edited the magazine to include our credits.

5th November 2013
Today Bruce, Lucia and I began to shoot some of the depicT short film, we had to overcome some issues such as the weather and changing location of shooting, However we were still successful in progressing with the film.

6th November 2013
Today in media we created and finished our shooting of the depicT short film. We also began to edit some of the clips on premiere pro and fixing continuity errors.

7th November 2013
W continued to edit the clip as a group and had to begin to shorten it and cut uneccessary parts of the clip to meet the aim of 1 minute and 30 seconds

12th November 2013
We continued the editing of our DepicT short film, this involved adding music and sound effects to the clips making it look like a more of a proffessional and finished piece.

13th November 2013
Today we finalised our editing of the DepicT 90 second film and made sure we had all completed our pre-production paperwork.
